Το χαρακτικό της Παναγίας Γοργοϋπηκόου./The wood cut of Panagia "Gorgoipikoos"

Σας παρουσιάζουμε το νεο μας χαρακτικο απο την σειρα "Παναγιάς του Αθω".Το χαρακτικο αυτο χαρακτηκε σε πλαγιο ξυλο, τυπώθηκε στο χερι σε γιαπωνέζικο χαρτί και ειναι διαστασεων 35 Χ 25 εκατοστών.

 Προκειται για την Παναγία Γοργουπήκοο που βρισκεται στην Ι. Μ. Δοχειαρίου. Για το εργο βασιστήκαμε στην παλαιά Βυζαντινή 15ου αι. τοιχογραφία που βρισκεται στην μονή κ οχι στην νεοτερη απεικόνιση η οποια ειχε κολλησει επανω στην παλαιά αλλα αποκολλήθηκε με επιτυχια διατηρώντας κ την παλαια κ την νεοτερη εικονα

"We present to you our new engraving from the series 'Panagia of Athos.' This engraving was carved on a sidewood block, hand-printed on Japanese paper, and measures 35 x 25 centimeters. 

It depicts the Panagia Gorgoepikoos, which is found at the Holy Monastery of Dochiariou. For this work, we based it on the old 15th-century Byzantine fresco located in the monastery, not on the more recent depiction which had been adhered to the old one but was successfully detached, preserving both the old and the newer image.
